Health & Education - Helping Orphans

Our main objectives lead us to start a project to build a school in the village of Bagerkhal - (P.O Horipur Bazar, P.S Zaintapur District: Sylhet) due to its lack of an educational establishment or care facility for orphans.

The school has been named 'Ummahat-ul Momineen Darussona Hifz Academy'. Thanks to all your donations it is complete and working for the community right now. We urgently need your donations to complete the work at other education facilities around Bangladesh which OWT is involved in, don't give up this opportunity to help orphans and gain the pleasure of Allah.

Helping the Poor and Needy

Another concern was the very high rate of poverty in areas with orphans, so as a matter of urgency we have started to spread donations to some of the poorest people in Bangladesh.

The work we plan to do for the poor requires your help, there are a lot of people suffering in situations where just a £1 is all that is needed to get them out of trouble - Please help your fellow brothers and sisters in need.

Annual Student Awards Event

The school held an event for all the students and local community in recognition of achievements and to encourage the community to prioritise Islam and Education for their children. This event also notified the lost people of Bangladesh that their brothers and sisters in the UK have not forgotten them.

The event helped organise saw the appearance of high profile guests to the school in recognition of achievements of the students.

Well over 3000 people turned up to see the work of the school and get involved in studies.

These local people who suffer from sever poverty are getting the help they require from you every day, from education to food.

Students on the awards day became volunteers to help organise and run the event, remembering the people who have helped them from the UK
